Summer 2021 Activities

  • Bible Buddies: Get fed weekly on Tuesday evenings (through July 20th) at the Troutmans at 6 PM. Dig into some great homemade food and then into an exhilarating discussion on a book of Scripture.

  • Simm's BBQ, Saturday, June 26th, 4 PM. A regional bucket list place to go, featuring all-you-can-eat BBQ, live bluegrass music, and a dance floor for line dancing and square dancing. Cost for all of this is $13.50. Please bring cash! They do not accept cards.

  • Group Hike, July 17th. More details to follow.

This conference is a great opportunity to get ready spiritually for the new school year. Students from around the SE Region will gather to worship and be equipped to serve the Lord effectively on their campuses. Cost will be reduced based on need. Contact John if you are interested in going.

Spring 2021 Activities
IMMERSION: Our weekly large group meeting. Wednesdays at 7 PM in the Parkway Ballroom, located on the 4th floor of the Plemmons Union. This semester, our focus will be on Acts and what this book tells us about being a Christian community. Our last Immersion of the school year will be Wed. April 28th! Join us!

COMMUNITY GROUPS: These small groups meet off-campus at 6 PM on Monday and Tuesday. You can choose whichever fits your schedule best. These groups are designed to provide you with a way to connect more deeply with others within CCF. This semester's focus will be on watching the new series about Jesus, "The Chosen," and discussing how we are to understand and follow Jesus. For Mondays, contact CassidyFor Tuesdays, contact Josh. Rides from campus are available if you need them.
BIBLE BUDDIES: These small groups meet weekly with John to read and discuss a particular book of the Bible. These groups meet on Wednesdays (10:30 AM) and Thursdays (2 PM). For more info, contact John.
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES: Throughout the semester, we will schedule activities where we can have some fun together. Come back to this page often to find out what we have planned!  

Our final event of the school year will be a Reading Day Cookout at Valle Crucis Park in, where else, Valle Crucis, just a short drive outside of Boone. We'll start at Noon and there will be rides from the Peacock Lot at 11:45 AM. We'll have games. There are basketball goals, volleyball court, a walking path, and the Watauga River runs by the park.  For more info or to arrange a ride, contact Josh.
