                                  Welcome Week 2021 Activities

  • Sunday, August 15th: Spiritual Life Fair, 9-11 AM, Student Union. Come meet us and find out more about CCF!

  • Sunday, August 15th: Club Expo, 2-5 PM, Holmes Convocation Center. If you slept in and missed us at the Spiritual Life Fair, you can still meet us at Club Expo!

  • Wednesday, August 18th: Immersion, 7 PM, Linville Falls Room on the second floor of the Union

  • Friday, August 20th: Semester Kick-Off Picnic, Durham Park (look for the gazebo near the tennis courts), 6 PM.

  • Saturday, August 21st: Group Hike to the Firetower, 1:30 PM. Meet at Peacock Circle and join us for one of the most popular hikes in the High Country!

Spring 2021 Activities
IMMERSION: Our weekly large group meeting. Wednesdays at 7 PM in the Parkway Ballroom, located on the 4th floor of the Plemmons Union. This semester, our focus will be on Acts and what this book tells us about being a Christian community. Our last Immersion of the school year will be Wed. April 28th! Join us!

COMMUNITY GROUPS: These small groups meet off-campus at 6 PM on Monday and Tuesday. You can choose whichever fits your schedule best. These groups are designed to provide you with a way to connect more deeply with others within CCF. This semester's focus will be on watching the new series about Jesus, "The Chosen," and discussing how we are to understand and follow Jesus. For Mondays, contact CassidyFor Tuesdays, contact Josh. Rides from campus are available if you need them.

BIBLE BUDDIES: These small groups meet weekly with John to read and discuss a particular book of the Bible. These groups meet on Wednesdays (10:30 AM) and Thursdays (2 PM). For more info, contact John.
 
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES: Throughout the semester, we will schedule activities where we can have some fun together. Come back to this page often to find out what we have planned!  

Our final event of the school year will be a Reading Day Cookout at Valle Crucis Park in, where else, Valle Crucis, just a short drive outside of Boone. We'll start at Noon and there will be rides from the Peacock Lot at 11:45 AM. We'll have games. There are basketball goals, volleyball court, a walking path, and the Watauga River runs by the park.  For more info or to arrange a ride, contact Josh.
